Grand Valley Model Railroad Club Train Show

Display depicts the Rio Grande Railroad as it traveled from Denver to Salt Lake City with special emphasis on the railroads in the mountains of the western slope of Colorado. Static displays, railroad art and videos will also be displayed. While you’re at Cross Orchards - stop by the bunkhouse for spiced cider and a cookie and check out the deals at the gift shop. This is a must see for kids of all ages!

Concert featuring Violist Ericka Eckert, with Harp & Flute

Western Slope Chamber Music Series presents--- One of the foremost violists in the country, Erika Eckert. As co-founder and former violist of the Cavani String Quartet, Ms. Eckert performed in major concert halls worldwide, and garnered an impressive list of awards and prizes. She has appeared on NBC, CBS, ABC, PBS, and NPR. Brilliant flutist Jane Kuenzel and the enchanting concert harpist Elise Helmke will join Ms. Eckert on a program of lush romantic and fascinating contemporary music for viola, harp, and flute. Kathryn and Tyme Mientka will add piano and cello to this delightful mix.
