The Cat's Meow

The "Roaring Twenties" lives again. The Grand Junction Senior Theatre presents, "The Cat's Meow", a musical comedy set in Chicago - 1929. A notorious gangster and his gang have just robbed the bank across the street from the Paradise Theater. With police in hot pursuit, they hide out in the theater. A comedy of errors ensue with mistaken identities, love sick ingenues, showgirls, tap dancers and the Chicago Morality Society.

The Majesty of the Night concert

The concert theme highlights music composed and performed for evening events. Two Haydn compositions, a contemporary work, Night Water, by Eric Whitacre, Brahms’ Liebeslieder Waltzes, and the Rachmaninoff Vespers combine to create an unprecedented evening of musical experience.
